Symptoms
Recent changes in Jira are not reflected in new snapshots:

A newly added Jira custom field isn't available when configuring a snapshot.

A new project, issue type, or status isn't appearing in JQL previews or filters.

Renamed fields or updated option values still show their old values.

After general site changes (URL renaming, residency changes).
What is the Snapshot cache?
Snapshots cache Jira data (custom fields, projects, issue types, statuses, users, etc.) to keep things fast, and refresh on a schedule.
Solution
Flush the Snapshots cache to force the app to retrieve fresh data from Jira.
This option is available to Confluence administrators through the Snapshots configuration panel.
