If you administer an Atlassian site with Snapshots installed, you may see a warning in Atlassian Administration, under Connected apps, telling you that an app runs on Connect and that Connect reaches end of support on 31 January 2027.
This page explains what that means for Snapshots and for Access Agent.
Your apps keep working
The warning is not a fault, and it is not a security incident. Nothing stops working when the banner appears. Snapshots and Access Agent continue to run normally, and your existing snapshots are unaffected.

Connect is the Atlassian app framework that came before Forge. Atlassian is retiring it, and has started showing administrators which of their installed apps still run on it.
Our commitment
Snapshots and Access Agent will be running on Forge before Connect reaches end of support.
We have declared this migration plan to Atlassian. That is why the banner you see for our apps shows a vendor with a stated plan, and links you to this page.
What you need to do now
Nothing.
What we will publish here
We are working through the details of the migration and will publish them on this page as they are settled, well before anything changes for you. That will cover:
-
when the migration happens, and for which app
-
what you need to do, if anything
-
what happens to your existing snapshots, templates, variables, and settings
-
anything that changes in the permissions the apps request
If you administer a site with our apps installed, this is the page to check.
